Shipping and Returns Policy

Shipping

Any item purchased in the '3 hour sale' are not eligible for return, credit or exchange unless deemed faulty.

All Domestic orders placed via our online store are shipped with Australia Post Express. 

All International order placed via our online store are shipped with DHL Express.

Online orders are processed Monday - Friday within 48hrs of being placed. 

Please note: if your order is placed on a weekend or public holiday it will be dispatched the following working day.

All orders are processed Monday – Friday

If you order before 9am AEST we will send your order out on the same day. Please allow an additional 24hrs during sale events or busy periods. If you order on the weekend all orders are processed and dispatched within 24-28hrs.

During a sale or promotion please allow an additional 24-48hrs for any order placed to be dispatched.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING

Our main priority is getting your order to you as quickly and efficiently as possible. We send all Australian orders via Australia Post Express. This means your parcel will arrive to you approx. 1-3 days after receiving your dispatch notification. You will also find your tracking number in this email. 

Please note that this is an estimate and once your parcel is with Australia Post we cannot control how long it takes to get to you. Please allow 1-2 days extra during busy periods as Australia Post experience delays.

All our parcels are signature on arrival so if you aren’t at home your order will most likely be at your local/closest post office. If you don’t receive a card, track your order via the Australia Post website. If you are still unable to locate your parcel please email our Girls With Gems Customer Service Team at sales@girlswithgems.com. If you would like your parcel to be left at home without a signature, please include this of the notes section of your order.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We offer DHL Express Shipping to all our International customers.

International cost varies depending on your location. This will be quoted upon check out. All prices on Girls With Gems orders are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD)

Payment for all customs clearance and taxes are the responsibility of the customer. Girls With Gems take no responsibility for any additional charges included for shopping orders internationally.  

Please be advised that we cannot under any circumstances change the prices that appear on the customs invoice.

Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking details. The time frame of when you should receive your package can vary depending on where you are located.

International customers are responsible for customs and duties within their own country. After your parcel arrives at the destination country, you will be contacted via email or mobile regarding the duties and taxes fees. Once paid, your parcel will be released and sent to you. For more information, please contact your local customs office.

If any applicable customs or duty fees are not paid, the order will be returned to our warehouse and refunded to your original payment method. However, the refund will be reduced by the return fee and send out fee. Please note that any customs charges paid to receive your order are non-refundable upon return.

Yes, we offer same day delivery for Sydney Metro between Monday and Friday on orders purchased before 1pm (exluding pre-orders). Your order should be delivered between 5pm and 5.30pm. Please note you have to be home to receive this order otherwise it may be returned to us and incur a $40 return fee.

Products that have been purchased while on pre-order will be fulfilled and delivered once we receive the stock.

For orders that contain both a product on pre-order and an item already in stock will be held and fulfilled once we receive the pre-order items.

Returns Policy

At our Double Bay boutique located at 5 Transvaal Avenue, we offer returns within 7 days of purchase all full price items. You are eligible for a 12 month credit or exchange.

We do not accept refunds in-store.

All pre-order items can be returned for a store credit ONLY and not a refund. 

Sale items cannot be returned for a credit, exchange or refund. Sale items are FINAL SALE.

Full-priced items which are not purchased with Afterpay or Zippay are eligible for store credit, exchange or refund. Afterpay and Zippay orders are eligible for a store credit or exchange only.

Items must be returned via our returns portal within 7 days (domestic orders) and 14 days (international orders) of receiving and remain unworn, unwashed, unaltered and with tags attached in original condition. Previously exchanged orders are eligible for store credit or exchange only.

Sale items, swimwear, jewellery and intimates cannot be returned for store credit, exchange or refund. These items are all final sale and not returnable for change of mind.

For orders placed on pre order or with a discount code, we will happily offer a store credit or exchange only.

Please see 'How Do I Make a Return?' for steps on how to return your item.

1. Read our Returns Policy to make sure your return is eligible.

2. Head to our Returns Portal by clicking here. Enter your Order Number and the email address associated with the Order.

3. Once your return request has been approved you will receive an email containing the details on what to do next.

4. When sending back items pleas ensure the garment is in original condition, unworn with tags attached

5. Package up your item securely and send back within 5 days of your return request being accpeted via registered or express post. International orders needs to be returned to
within 7 days of your return rquest being accpeted. Items are to be sent back to Girls With Gems at the cost of the customer. Girls with Gems reserves the right to refuse to accept, and to return, parcels that arrive COD or have More to Pay stamped on them.

If you believe your item is faulty, please head to our Returns Portal by clicking here. Enter your Order Number and the email address associated with the Order and images of the fault. We will be in contact with the manufacturer and try to work out the best solution. Please give us 2-5 days to converse with the brand directly.

Refunds are only issued if we deem the product faulty, this includes the cost of shipping.

Your refund will take up to 5 days from receiving  the return to be processed.

We do not currently offer returns on sale items. This means sale items cannot be exchanged, refunded or returned for a credit note.

Sale items are FINAL sale.

Please take care when sending items back to us, as items lost in the post are your responsibility and we cannot offer refunds, exchanges or credit notes on lost parcels.

All returns need to be sent back to us within 7 days of delivery. Meaning 7 days from the day that you the tracking shows the item was delivered to you.

We do not currently offer free returns

At the time of placing your pre-order, you will be required to pay the full amount. No promotional codes or subscription codes can be used on pre order items.

If you would like to cancel a pre-order you will be eligible for a credit NOT rather than a refund.

You are welcome to return a pre-order item and you will be eligible for a credit note rather than a refund. 

Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information and you will continue to receive updates regarding your parcel.

Yes, you can. Standard returns policy applies. Follow the steps in "How do I make a return?" to submit a return.

If you are not present at time of delivery to receive your same day delivery order, contact sales@girlswithgems or call us on 0413 488 823.

If you do not to contact us the courier will return back to sender which you will be charged an extra $40.

Pick Up In Store

Yes! We offer pick up from our Double Bay boutique which is located at 5 Transvaal Avenue, Double Bay.

You will be sent an email or text message from our Customer Service Team when your order is ready to collect.

If you require your click and collect urgently please phone our boutique on 0413 488 823 so that we can arrange to pack your order and have it ready promptly.

Orders made before 11am, Monday to Friday will be packed on the same day and be available for pick up.

You will need to wait for confirmation via email or text to ensure your order is packed as some items need to come from our warehouse.

Please note that some sale and clearance items will take longer to locate and therefore will not be ready same day.
